Char's Bridal Shower - Room With Roses

and of course, to prepare her for the wedding, this time the girls decided to go for a high tea session at Room With Roses in the city, along Queen St=)
of course, all thanks to jess's recommendation, we had a realy swell time.
The staffs were really accommodating, i have changed the number of bookings multiple times, even on the day itself. and they still made it happen. aweeesome. =)

see the ladies sitting behind them? the ooh-ed and ahh-ed at the bride-to-be and at our high tea sets. apparently they always go there for tea but never ordered the high tea sets.

and they will try it out next time. =)

char's best friends since eons ago.

and now we are friends too! =D

and i found out we all have lots of common friends via FB, since uni times and all

from bottom, savouries - quiches, sandwiches, etc. then square scones with cream and 2 different types of spread. and of course sweets at the top!
lots of choices and very very filling. we had like 3 sets of them. =)

finally, the bride and i =)

and the staff gave her the rose. well, initially he wanted to give it to me but of course! it has to be a gift for the beautiful Char!

this was definitely one of those moments. whereby the timing was right. and good.

we had a good time, shared laughter and shed tears of joy over stories that were meant to be for girls only!

i am glad it went well. the old friends with new friends, being able to have a jolly time together. awesome time spent is time well spent.
i am really glad to be her bridesmaid, always an honour. to get to know her even better.

and of course, there's more to come!

and uh, i decided to catch the bus on that day from tum's stop. and when i reached the stop and got down from the bus, it started to hail! and the above shows the number of hail that rained down furiously! but thank goodness they were small ones.

but just a little too much.

but! it was alright. i reached my car safely and drove to angela's surprise birthday safely too.

and it was a good day. sort of.

tum brought me up to mt coot-tha for some "us" time.=)

unbeknownst to us, on the way down my car broke down. =.="

thank God for good friends too. picked us up and sent us home.

October has been a whirlwind of events, happenings and stories.

and again, more and much more to come.
