End of KL Sept trip

when we were back in KEL, what can i say?
we were showered with good food!

nasi dagang + chicken. i can eat this every morning of my life!

KEL style curry in white. more of santan with aromatic flavours

look at the size of this home-grown papaya! too fresh and sweet for words

and of course, when we were back, we attended multiple weddings in KL!

one was for tum's childhood friend's wedding at... sabak bernam i think. or somewhere near

the girls' ji muis (aka best frens) waiting for the groom to arrive!

and whilst waiting for time to pass for reception, we had awesome seafood feast!

yum prawns, squids, eggplant, fish, and even bak kut teh!

at the reception place. old fashion way of a wedding dinner =)

and when i was in kl, of course it was carrie's registration ceremony

and before the day, we went to Diva Nails (i think) near Giza and went for a mani, pedi and spa session =)

being pampered feels good. of course.

some other goot massage before the real massage with the 'rents on another random day

when i was back, dad had to go to penang for a job. so, off we went, tagging along for the food!

fish meat, fish maw, fish whatever! i only know that it was yummss

and pork hock with noodles!

all at an eating place near gurney hotel. dont know the name cos cant remember anymore!

and cos we stayed at the place she worked at, we met up for din din and catch up after that =)

helo ellie zai, too long time no see =D

and then it was the day of their legalised ceremony

=)

and a long time old friend too

that did not change much, after all these years.

same ol', but wiser and better

us once more, after many years apart at putrajaya for carrie's ceremony

being silly and us

and us with my #fatface, after stuffing my face with food for all of 3 weeks!

and of course, mini reunion with grandma

and informed her of our upcoming plans

so, this basically summed up my long ago hols. lots of food, friends, R&R and family time. =)

and of course, now that it's November and i've gotten over the initial excitement...

tum and i are finally engaged. =)

*as in really just engaged, not the actual ceremony as per M'sia's culture

so, once we got back to bris, what did i first do?

on with the groceries and start cooking healthy for us!
